  Kane came up with a stunning hat-trick as Bayern got back to winning ways against Stuttgart on Saturday in the Bundesliga. Despite scoring 10 goals in nine matches across all competitions before the Stuttgart clash, the England captain faced backlash over going missing in important games, but he responded strongly and silenced many of his critics.

  After a strong return to form, Vincent Kompany's side will now gear up to face Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek. The match will see a reunion of striker Lewandowski and head coach Hansi Flick with the Bavarian giants, and Kane claimed he is looking forward to meeting the Polish forward, who he rates very highly.

  Speaking to after Saturday's game, the 31-year-old said, "Robert is a fantastic striker, one of the best of my generation. It will be a special game. Many of us know their coach very well. We expect a similar opponent to today [Stuttgart], who wants the ball and presses high. It will be a tough fight, but we will take it on."
